It's no secret that any video that can be downloaded from the Internet today can be of different quality. The quality of the video file affects the display of the picture on the monitor screen. The higher the quality, the clearer the image looks, and the file size increases accordingly. If you are a connoisseur of high quality movies or just want to know the quality of a video, use the tips below.
Necessary
Media Player Classic software
Instructions
Step 1
One of the easiest ways to determine the quality of a movie is to run it and evaluate the picture purely visually. Most likely, this will not be enough for you, so use the built-in functions of your player. An example will be viewed on the Media Player Classic. This player is included in most of the currently existing codec assemblies. Any assembly of codecs can be downloaded from the Internet, they are freely available, you do not need to pay money for their use.
Step 2
After installing and launching the player, you need to select a video file, the quality of which you need to know. Click the File button, from the drop-down list of the context menu, select the "Open file" item.
Step 3
Click the play icon or the space bar on your keyboard. Next, click the File menu, select Properties, or press Shift + F10. In the window that opens, go to the "Details" tab to view the parameters of the video file. They will be presented as follows:
- duration;
- size (volume);
- frame size;
- video quality;
- audio quality.
Step 4
The last 2 lines are the parameters you were looking for. As a rule, in different programs the names of the parameters are different, but the indicators will be the same everywhere.
