Step 1
Download a video converting software. There are a lot of them on the Internet - you can use Total Video Converter, Any Video Converter Pro, Free Video Converter, Samsung Multimedia Manager or any other program convenient for you. Also note that the program must support working with 3gp video files.
Step 2
After downloading the program, register it if necessary to perform further actions. Trial versions of paid video converters only work with a certain length of file time, so if you chose one of them, pay for the program license key.
Step 3
Open your video through the program menu and select the format to convert it to. You can set 3gp again for the target file. Specify the image size in the parameters slightly smaller than the original, while increasing the number of frames per second. Set the rest of the settings high as well, but don't set them much higher than the original file.
Step 4
Start the conversion process without deleting the original recording. Wait for the end of the operation. Whenever possible, during the encoding of a video file, do not load your computer with running applications that use the resources of the video card and processor in a large volume, since the conversion in this case may take longer.
Step 5
At the end of the video conversion process, open the directory where the transcoded file is located. Play it and check if the video quality has improved by reducing the size. Do not expect major changes, as improving picture quality is a rather controversial issue. It increases by decreasing the size, and if the video is expanded, you may not notice any special changes.
