If your Android phone is lost or stolen, you can find it (block or delete all data from it) using the service from Google - Android Device Manager.

Instructions
Step 1
Go to Google play from your computer, click on the "gear" in the upper right corner
Step 2
On this page we see brief information about the phone (tablet), namely: Date of registration and the date when the location was last determined.
Next, we can make the phone ring at maximum volume (convenient if the phone is lost somewhere in the apartment).
Step 3
To configure locking and erasing data, click on the "Setup Lock & Erase" button.
The system offers to send the settings to the phone, which we do.
Step 4
The following picture appears on the phone, we only need to confirm the activation of remote control. Press the button "Activate"
Step 5
We put a check mark on all the items.
Step 6
We go back to the Android device manager and see that now we can block the device or delete all data from it. As well as its location.
