Step 1
Download and install on your computer a specialized application Recuva designed to recover files from the recycle bin of a desktop computer and removable media. The program works with most formats of memory cards used in modern phone models and has filters that allow you to sort by name or extension of the desired file. A distinctive feature of the application is the ability to run from a removable USB drive. The program supports almost all file systems and can work with documents, emails, images, audio and video files. At the same time, the Recuva application is free and freely distributed on the Internet.
Step 2
Launch the installed Recuva application and select the method of connecting to the disk containing the remote file in the first dialog box of the program. Two options are offered - using Active Sync and connecting to a removable disk of the phone's memory. Specify the type of file to be restored in the next dialog box of the application and apply the checkbox to the field of the folder or drive from which the file was deleted in the third dialog box.
Step 3
Confirm the execution of the selected task by clicking the "Start" button in the "Recuva Wizard" window and wait until the process of finding the required file is completed. Select the desired location to save the found file in the next dialog box and confirm your choice by clicking the OK button. Please note that the developers of the application recommend saving recoverable files on the hard disk of the computer, and not in the phone's memory. Control the file recovery process in the program dialog box and, if necessary, transfer the recovered file to the phone memory.
