If you only have one cable, but several TVs, this is not a problem. You can use a little trickery to use one signal to multiple receivers.

Instructions

Step 1

Purchase a dedicated splitter to connect multiple TVs to a single cable. A splitter is a kind of tee that splits a coaxial cable. Examine the splitter. On one end it has only one nest, on the other - several. Plug the cable directly into that one jack. In others, insert the pre-prepared wires with suitable connectors to connect them to TVs. You can make these wires yourself or purchase them from any electronics store.

Step 2

Purchase an additional splitter if you are using the receiver to access satellite channels. Pay attention to which channel is used to connect the receiver to the TV. To connect multiple TVs to a single cable, you need a splitter with VGA or DVI connectors. They are now very common, so it will not be difficult to purchase such a device. As in the previous case, connect the original cable to the input socket of the splitter, and from its outputs run wires with the appropriate connectors for connecting TVs.

Step 3

Use adapters if necessary. The DVI, VGA and HDMI ports can be interconnected using special adapters. Purchase them in the required quantity and switch the ports. Please note that using adapters will significantly reduce signal quality.

Step 4

Also, do not forget that if you connect two TVs to the same cable, then the same channel will be shown on both TVs. You can also use the aforementioned splitters to connect TVs to your personal computer's graphics card connector. As in the previous case, both TVs will receive the same signal.

Step 5

If you want to watch different channels on different TVs, do the following. Connect a coaxial cable of a conventional antenna to each TV set in one of the connectors. In the other, connect the cable that will follow from the splitter. If necessary, you will be able to switch the reception modes of the antenna / receiver channels.
