"Video Portal" is a service thanks to which subscribers can watch TV programs directly from their mobile device, without using the Internet access. If you are a client of Megafon OJSC, several packages are open for you, which differ in the set of channels, as well as in the basic cost. You can deactivate online browsing at any time.
Instructions
Step 1
You can manage the service, including deactivating it, using a special service located on the official website of OJSC Megafon. First of all, you need to get access to the site. To do this, enter the link to the Video Portal service management page in the address bar. In the form, fill in all the necessary cells, that is, enter the code shown in the picture and your phone number. Finally, click on the "Send" function. Within a few seconds, a service message with the necessary data will be sent to your phone. Enter them in the address bar. Once on the page, you can independently disable the service or change the connected package.
Step 2
Disable the service using a special USSD request. The command depends on the package you selected earlier. For example, if you connected the basic one, to disconnect, enter * 506 * 0 * 1 #. There is a code to deactivate the children's channel - * 506 * 0 * 4 #. The "Sport" package is disabled by the following command: * 506 * 0 * 5 #. That is, you must dial the code that you entered when connecting, while adding the digit 0.
Step 3
You can also deactivate the "Video Portal" using SMS. The content of the message is also different. Let's say your phone is connected to the First Entertainment package. In this case, you need to send “stop 9” to number 5060. To deactivate the "18+ Premium" package, dial "stop 18" and send to 5060. To deactivate "18+ Lux", the text should be "stop 2".
Step 4
If for any reason you cannot turn off the service on your own, contact the consultant of Megafon OJSC. To do this, call the Help Desk at 0500 or visit the company's office. Legal entities need to contact the corporate customer service department with an official letter from the head of the company.
