News messages can be sent to the phones of MegaFon subscribers every day. This happens if the service called "Kaleidoscope" is active. In addition to news, the user will receive a weather forecast, information about services, content and the latest offers from the operator.
Instructions
Step 1
The first way to disable the "Kaleidoscope" is to send messages to the number 5038. Do not forget that the text of the SMS must contain the word "stop" (you can write both in Cyrillic and Latin). The client will have to wait a few minutes before he receives a notification of successful deactivation.
Step 2
MegaFon subscribers have an application on their phones that allows them to manage some services, including Kaleidoscope. It is quite simple to check the availability of this add-on: go to the settings of your mobile phone and open the column "Broadcasting". Then you just have to click the "Disable" button.
Step 3
Please note that the dedicated application may not be available on old SIM cards. However, you can make a request to the operator and download everything yourself. Send a message to 000222 (no need to indicate anything in the text). Also, you can always contact the nearest MegaFon Sales Office.
Step 4
Register in the "Service-Guide" self-service system to be able to instantly connect and disconnect various services. First, go to the system site https://sg.megafon.ru/. Next, enter your phone number in the first field, and enter your password in the second.
Step 5
To set a password, contact the Subscriber Service (call the short number 0890). Once you are logged in, you will be taken to the management page. Among many others, there is a column "Tariffs and services", and you need to select it. Click on the name of the service you want to unsubscribe from. Remember to save your changes at the end of the procedure.
Step 6
To deactivate the "Kaleidoscope" the client of the company can call 8-800-333-05-00 (this is the number for communication directly with the operator). As soon as your application is received, the service will expire.
