Satellite TV offers a very high quality TV signal. For its reception, special satellite receivers (tuners) have been developed. Also, advanced models can connect consumers using a network connector to the global Internet.
It is necessary
satellite dish, TV, scart connector, tulip connector, satellite receiver
Instructions
Step 1
Connect the cable from the satellite dish to the back of the receiver. It is usually labeled "LNB IN" or "IF Input". All connectors for connecting equipment are located on the rear panel. They are standard on all models. Connect the receiver to the video input on your TV. This can be done with a Scart or cinch connector. Usually video is connected through the “yellow” connector, audio - through the “black” and “red” connectors. Some types of receivers can be connected at a high frequency.
Step 2
Turn on the receiver. Tune the TV to the appropriate channel, this is indicated in the instructions for the TV receiver. A picture with the receiver's logo will appear on the screen. If channels are already installed in it, a list of channels will appear. Press the "Menu" button, sometimes you need to press the "OK" button. They are located on the remote control or on the front of the receiver. Set the menu language to Russian. After choosing the language, configure the basic parameters - the current time and the parameters of the output video signal. The tuner (receiver) can ask for a PIN access code, as a rule, it is 0000 or 1234.
Step 3
Perform a hard reset of the receiver. This will only delete the channel list. This is required to remove unnecessary satellite settings. Add satellite free channels i.e. FTA, and it does not have a CI connector or smart card readers, limit your search to uncoded channels only. This option is designated “FTA only”. Thus, the order in the list can be maintained.
Step 4
Check in the satellite tuner menu setting: 1. Availability of the required satellite 2. Check the alignment of the satellite head: linear head universal LNB (local oscillator frequency 9750/10600); circular head - circular LNB (local oscillator frequency 10750); C-BAND (B-band) - C-BAND LNB (local oscillator frequency 5150). The data is on the label of the satellite converter. 3. Select the required satellite and set the corresponding DiSEqC port for the selected satellite if more than one converter is installed on the satellite dish. The DiSEqC switch contains inputs for connecting satellite converters. Write down to which inputs each converter was connected when satellite heads were connected to DiSEqC. In the receiver's menu, set the ports of the DiSEqC switch according to the connected satellite converters. If you do not know or have forgotten which ports are set, find the corresponding satellite by brute-force. Set the settings to the required satellite and scan it. To scan a transponder, go to the satellite tuner menu in the section of transponder settings, satellite converter, DiSEqC, etc. Select the required transponder (if it is not there, then it must be added). Then press the desired button on the remote control to scan it, for this, at the bottom of the TV screen there are colored tips that match the color of the keys on the remote control. This can be done both manually and automatically.
