Modern polyphonic mobile phones are capable of playing MP3 melodies. Any of the music files loaded into the device can be made to sound at the time of the call. And if you have a memory card in your phone, the number of melodies stored on it can reach several hundred or even thousands.
Instructions
Step 1
To download the melodies, use the one of your existing devices (phone or computer), which is connected to the Internet at an unlimited tariff. When using a phone for these purposes, make sure that the access point (APN) is configured correctly on it. Its name should start with internet, not wap.
Step 2
Go to the Jamendo website linked below. Find the Search link, click on it, and then, after loading a new page, enter your search term. The search will be carried out among artist names, song titles, and genres. If you have decided only on the genre, enter only its name in English, for example jazz. When accessing the Internet not from a phone, but from a computer, the browser of which supports Javascript, you can select the genre in a different way. Move the cursor to the search bar, and then select the Genres tab from the menu that pops up after that, and in it the desired item.
Step 3
After completing the search, select an album and a track in it, or select a single track from the list located directly before the list of albums. On the tracks page, review the Creative Commons license that this file is licensed under. It may impose the following restrictions (in any combination): indicate the names of authors and performers, not use for commercial purposes, distribute derivative works only under the same license.
Step 4
Click the Download button and then the Free Download button. The browser will open a file download dialog. Select a folder to save it, and then click the Ok button. Wait for the file to download.
Step 5
If you used your computer to download the track, copy the file to your phone. To do this, use a card reader, USB cable, or Bluetooth adapter. Then find a song using the built-in file manager of your phone and listen to it, and if you wish, also set it through the menu of this program as a ringtone.
