Step 1
Read the instruction manual for your phone. Pay particular attention to the sections on the battery and how to charge it. Much depends on the phone model and the type of battery. Thus, the well-known method of overclocking batteries is well suited for nickel-metal hydride (NiMH) power supplies. To charge a new lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery, it needs to be adjusted slightly.
Step 2
First, completely discharge your new phone. The fastest way to do this is by talking on it, playing with mobile toys, listening to music on it, using a camera or 3G Internet. Make the screen as bright as possible, but focus primarily on eye comfort. If you own a new smartphone, take this moment to explore its functions or download the applications you need. Step 3
Connect the charger cable to the phone, and plug the “charger” into the AC mains. To charge, use a proprietary charger designed and manufactured specifically for your phone model.
