First you need to think about making a box for your future subwoofer. To do this, you need to choose a shape. Please note that making a cylindrical box is much more difficult than a square one. Particleboard is suitable for work. It is best to fasten this material together with self-tapping screws. Then use a jigsaw to make a round hole in the front of the box. You will need to install a speaker in it. Also make a hole in the back. It is necessary for the output of the wires.

Next, take care of finishing the case from the inside. To do this, lay soundproofing sheets in several layers. The box should not emit extraneous sounds when vibrated. Interior decoration must be taken very seriously.
Step 3
After the box is ready, you can proceed to filling it internally. The speaker must be correctly positioned or you will not get the expected effect. A good seal is recommended around the edges of the round hole. The fact is that the speaker will constantly vibrate. It is unlikely that you want to hear creaks and knocks when music sounds. Place the speaker in the housing and screw it tightly onto the self-tapping screws.
Step 4
Connect the wires to the speaker. It is recommended to solder them. Lead these wires out. It is best to make a “dad-mom” terminal on the output. In this case, you can easily turn off the subwoofer and remove it from the trunk if necessary.
Step 5
Next, put cotton wool in the body. She must fill it completely. Vata contributes to good sounding. Now it remains to finish the body from the outside. You can use a wide variety of materials for this. Carpet is very popular. Cover the subwoofer with this material. Use regular Moment glue. Connect the wires to the amplifier and test the performance of your DIY subwoofer.
