Instructions
Step 1
Dial * # 0000 # in idle mode to determine the firmware version of your Nokia phone. In the message that will result from such an action, the first line will be the firmware version of the selected phone, the second will be the firmware release date, and the bottom line will contain the name of the device model.

Dial * # 9999 # or * # 1234 # in standby mode to determine the firmware of your Samsung phone.

Set the symbols> * << * and <- move the joystick to the right and to the left, respectively, in standby mode to determine the firmware of the Sony Ericsson phone.

Select the Applications tab in the upper right corner of the screen to identify the UIQ2 firmware (P900, P910).

Press the Power button on your Motorola phone while holding the * and # buttons to enter flash mode.

Press the Menu button and go to Options to determine the firmware version of your Motorola phone.

Select Phone Status and enter Other Information.

Go to the "Software version" item. An alternative way to determine the firmware version of your Motorola phone is to dial * # 9999 # in standby mode.
