Configuring a mail client to receive messages using the POP3 protocol requires providing data for only four parameters: the mail server for incoming mail, connection type, port and authentication (SMTP Authentication). Make sure that the authorization of incoming mail in the mail client is done!

Instructions
Step 1
Follow the general rules for enabling authentication on SMTP servers regardless of the mail client - add the following values to the configuration file:
- AuthUser = username;
- AuthPass = user_password;
AuthMethod = LOGIN.
Step 2
Open the "Tools" menu of the top toolbar of the Microsoft Outlook window and go to the "Accounts" item (for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express).
Step 3
Enter your account and click the Properties button (for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express).
Step 4
Go to the "Servers" tab of the dialog box that opens and apply the check box to the "User Authentication" field in the "Outgoing Mail Server" section (for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express).
Step 5
Click the "Settings" button and apply the checkbox to the "As for outgoing mail server" field in the new dialog box (for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express).
Step 6
Click OK to execute the command and confirm your choice by clicking OK again (for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express).
Step 7
Click OK to apply the selected changes (for Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express).
Step 8
Open the "Box" link in the window of The Bat! and go to the Transport tab of the Mailbox Properties dialog box that opens (for The Bat!).
Step 9
Click the Authentication button in the Sending Mail section and apply the check boxes for SMTP Authentication (RFC-2554) and Use Mail Receiving Options (POP3 / IMAP) (for The Bat!).
Step 10
Press the OK button to execute the command and confirm the application of the selected changes by pressing the OK button again (for The Bat!).
