If you decide to use a mobile phone to connect your computer or laptop to the Internet, there are a few rules to keep in mind. Remember that you need a dedicated USB cable or BlueTooth adapter.
Necessary
PC Suite
Instructions
Step 1
First, download a program that will help you set up a connection between your computer and your mobile phone. Large companies have released their own applications called PC Studio or PC Suite. Install the program suitable for your mobile phone and launch it.
Step 2
Select the type of synchronization between your phone and your computer or laptop. If you want to use wireless, then purchase a BlueTooth adapter. Connect your phone to your computer using a cable or wireless connection. Wait for the program to detect it.
Step 3
Open the Internet Connection or Internet Connection menu. Configure the settings for connecting to the Internet. Typically, this requires you to specify a username, password and server address. If you are not sure about the correctness of the specified parameters, then open the Internet settings in your mobile phone. Fill in the program items in the same way.
Step 4
Click the Connect button. Wait until the connection with the operator's server is completed. Open your browser and check for internet access.
Step 5
If your phone uses GPRS Internet, then it is most reasonable to use additional programs. Install the Traffic Compressor utility first. It will allow you to save your traffic while at the same time speeding up the loading of websites.
Step 6
Install an application that allows you to run java programs written for cell phones on your computer. There are a lot of them in the public domain on the Internet. Download the operamini.jar file. It is a browser used in mobile phones. Use Opera Mini to browse web pages.
Step 7
Please be aware that if you close PC Suite, your internet connection will be automatically disconnected.
