To connect to the Internet via GPRS and 3G channels, it is customary to use special USB modems. Most mobile phones can replace these devices because they have built-in modems designed to work with these networks.
Necessary
- - USB cable;
- - BlueTooth adapter.
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure your phone can be used as a modem. To do this, visit the official website of the manufacturer of this device and read the instructions for it. Choose how you sync your phone with your computer. Prepare a USB cable of the required format or a BlueTooth adapter.
Step 2
Download from the official website the program required to establish a connection between a mobile phone and a computer. Install it and restart your PC.
Step 3
Run the installed program. Connect your phone to a USB port on your computer. If a selection menu appears on the screen of your mobile device, select PC Suite or Modem. When working with a BlueTooth network, activate the corresponding adapter in the phone. Turn on the BlueTooth device connected to the computer.
Step 4
Click the Search for BlueTooth Devices button in the PC Suite main menu. Wait for the connection with your mobile phone to be established. Enter the same passwords in the program window and in the mobile device.
Step 5
Open the Internet Connection menu. Customize the menu that appears by choosing the options that your cellular operator recommends to use. Click the Save button. Restart PC Suite and repeat the procedure to connect to your phone.
Step 6
Click the "Connect" button in the "Internet" menu. Wait for the device to establish connection with the provider's server. Check the connection activity. Configure Windows Firewall settings. Install applications that allow you to compress internet traffic.
