It is possible to disable not only the "News" service, but also many others (or vice versa, connect them) thanks to such a service as "Internet Assistant", which can be found on the official website of the operator. However, in order to enter the service, you need to set a password, which must consist of 4 or 7 digits. To set a password, dial the USSD request to the number * 111 * 25 # or use the number 1118, and then, following the instructions of the autoinformer, set the password itself.

By the way, access to the "Internet Assistant" is provided free of charge, no fee is charged for its use. There are also no restrictions on the use of the service, however, if you enter the password incorrectly more than three times, access to the assistant will be blocked for 30 minutes. If the password is lost or simply forgotten, you can always set a new one.
Step 3
In addition, the telecom operator "MTS" has a special service that allows you to manage your services, it is also called: "My services". With its help, you can find out about already connected services, disable them or activate new ones. For this, there is a special number 8111, to which you need to send any SMS message. For sending SMS, the operator does not withdraw money from the account if it was sent in the home network; and if in roaming, then it will be charged in accordance with the roaming tariff rates.
