The phone book for the majority of mobile phone owners is of great value, because phone numbers, as a rule, are not duplicated anywhere else, and not everyone will be able to keep several tens or hundreds of numbers in their head. IPhone owners will find it helpful to know how to copy contacts from the phone book to their computer without using iTunes.
Instructions
Step 1
This method is also good because you can not only copy phone numbers and other data of your contacts, including their photos, but also edit this data on your computer. All this can be done using the ExcelContacts application (in the Russian version "ContactsExcel"), which is available in the AppStore.
Step 2
To get started, open the AppStore on your iPhone or computer, search for the name of the application, and install it. Run the application after installation and click the "Start" button. Your contacts will be exported to an Excel file, and then you will need to select the option to transfer this file to your computer. You can choose to connect to your computer using a USB cable or transfer over Wi-Fi.
Step 3
If you choose USB, then after connecting the cable to the iPhone, click the "Continue" button. The file will be saved in the Application folder, which can be found under your iPhone's Apps section in iTunes. Scroll the list of programs to the very bottom, and opposite the application you will see the saved file.
Step 4
To completely avoid contact with iTunes, select Wi-Fi and click Continue. The file is exported wirelessly and prompted for a network address in your computer's browser. After entering it in the address bar of the browser, you will be taken to a page where you will need to click a single button and save the file.
Step 5
After the Excel file with contacts is on the computer, you will be able not only to view it, but also to edit it. In addition, the edited file can be transferred to the iPhone by selecting the Import section in the ExcelContacts application.
