IPhone owners are often faced with the problem of exporting phone contact numbers from and to a SIM card. Mobile device manufacturers are warning users to keep important information off the phone. In this case, you can copy phone numbers from iPhone to your computer so that you don't lose important contacts in case of an accidental failure.
Instructions
Step 1
If you need to copy numbers from the SIM card inserted into the iPhone, go to the phone settings. Scroll through the settings page and press your finger on "Mail, Contacts, Calendars". Then click "Import SIM contacts" and wait for the import to finish.
Step 2
If you want to copy numbers from iPhone to SIM, you need to flash your iPhone if it has not been flashed earlier. Download the new iPhone firmware and bootloader files. Launch iTunes and hold Shift and click "Restore". Select the previously downloaded firmware file.
Step 3
Download and run QuickPwn. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable. In QuickPwn, activate the Next button (blue square with an arrow). Then install the Installer and Cydia programs on the iPhone. In the new window, check the boxes Add Cydia, Add Installer and Unlock iPhone, if there is one. Select the bootloaders requested by the program.
Step 4
The phone will be put into Recovery Mode. Press the Home key for 5 seconds. Then hold down the power button without releasing Home and hold for 10 seconds. When the time has elapsed, release only the power button. Hold your finger on Home until the program displays a message on the screen to proceed to the next step. The jailbreak will start in 30 seconds. Wait for the process to finish. After iPhone restarts, disconnect the cable from the computer.
Step 5
After flashing, open Cydia and enter the name of the SIManager application in the search. Install this application and close Cydia. Open SIManager and click the Setup button in the upper left corner. Move the slider in Fast read to the right and select how the SIM card contacts will be ordered - by first / last name or vice versa.
Step 6
Tap Done with your finger. Exit to the main menu of the application and there select Read from SIM. Wait for the application to connect to your phone. Then tap Copy iPhone to SIM. Wait while your contacts are transferred from iPhone to SIM. Without flashing, such a process is impossible.
Step 7
Transfer numbers from your address book using iTunes. Connect your iPhone and iTunes will start automatically. If it doesn't, double-click on its icon to open the window. Click under Devices on your phone. Next, select Info and check the Sync Address Book contacts box. Select Windows Address Book and place a full stop next to All Contacts.
Step 8
The address book is located in Start → Programs → Accessories → Address Book. Do not check the boxes next to the information replacement on the iPhone. Click Apply. In the window that iTunes displays, click on "Combine Information". In addition, you can sync contacts with Outlook. To do this, you just need to choose Outlook instead of Windows Address Book.
Step 9
Save numbers using the Contacts Excel application. Find and download it from the AppStore if you have an Apple ID and the ability to connect to a Wi-Fi hotspot. Launch the application by tapping it with your finger, and after launching, tap on "Start". Your contacts will be imported into an Excel file. Choose to transfer this file via Wi-Fi or USB.
Step 10
If you decide to use the first option, select Wi-Fi and click Continue. The file will be exported wirelessly, and you will be prompted to type the network address into the address bar of your computer's browser. Entering it, you will be taken to a page where you have to press a single button to save the file.
Step 11
In case you decide to connect your iPhone via USB, connect your phone to your computer. Click the "Continue" button. The file will be saved in the application folder. It will be in the list of your phone's programs in iTunes. Opposite the application, when you scroll down the page, you will see the saved file.
