GPS is called a navigation system through which users can determine the speed and location of other objects. You can see the display of such data using mobile maps (for example, Yandex maps).
Instructions
Step 1
Purchase a GPS module first if you don't already have one. To do this, contact any of the stores that sell communication devices, electronics or navigation aids. The order is also available through the online store (they are provided in large quantities on Yandex. Market). Please note that before purchasing a module, please check if your mobile phone supports a specification such as JSR-82. This information is relevant only for Java phones. Devices based on Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms are already available with GPS support.
Step 2
You can find out yourself if your mobile phone has a GPS module. Try to connect it using a special menu called "Settings" / "Connect GPS". If nothing happens after that, then you must purchase a module that you do not have built-in.
Step 3
You can download the maps that will be used for the search from the official Yandex website mobile.yandex.ru/maps. The operator will send you an sms message containing a link. You can use it to download the program. You can also download the file from your mobile phone. Open a browser, enter the address m.ya.ru/ymm in the search bar. The version of the application you need will be detected automatically if it is available for your device. As already mentioned, the service works with phones based on Windows Mobile, Java, Symbian, as well as Android, iPhone and Bada.
Step 4
As soon as the application is loaded, the Yandex. Maps shortcut will be installed in the menu of your device. By the way, the exact position of the label depends on the phone model. For example, on Windows Mobile, the icon will appear in the Applications folder, on Symbian, in Applications, and on java phones, respectively, in the Java menu.
