Nokia smartphones use the Ovi Maps application to implement the GPS function. This program is completely free and allows you to locate, get directions and find various businesses and places directly from your mobile device. A voice navigation and travel guide function is also available.
Necessary
the Internet configured on your Nokia phone
Instructions
Step 1
Make sure your internet is configured correctly. To do this, launch a browser or any application that uses packet data transmission, check its functionality.
Step 2
Go to the menu "Settings" - "Phone" - "Application settings" - "Location determination", select the settings of your operator.
Step 3
If your smartphone does not have Ovi Maps installed, go to the Nokia website to download it. This can be done using a computer. After downloading the application, connect your phone using a cable in Ovi Suite mode and install it by double-clicking on the downloaded.sis file (.sisx).

Step 6
There are many other third-party navigation apps that use the phone's built-in GPS. Among the free programs, it is worth noting the mobile version of the well-known utility 2GIS. It has a functionality similar to the computer version, it is able to display a list of companies and public transport routes. There is also Garmin Mobile XT, which has similar features but is faster than Ovi Maps.
