In the modern rhythm of life, it is important for a person to always be in touch. It happens that a phone that has been working properly for a long time without charging suddenly starts to discharge quickly. However, the reason is not always the battery or hardware problems. Possibly fast discharge is caused by a large number of background processes. In the Android operating system, some settings made in developer mode will help to cope with this problem.
Instructions
Step 1
Developer mode is a hidden menu that needs to be activated in order to work. For the Android operating system, the algorithm of actions is usually similar for different brands of phones.
Step 2
To do this, go to the "Settings" menu of the smartphone and find the "About phone" or "About the tablet" tab. It's at the very bottom of the menu list.
Step 3
Next, you need to go to the item "Build number" and quickly press it 7 times. In the process, a notification will appear how many clicks are left.
Step 4
If everything is done correctly, the phone will inform you that you have become a developer. The menu is activated. It should be noted that in some brands of phones, instead of the standard "Build number", to start developer mode, you need to click another item (for example, for Xiaomi it is "MIUI version").
Step 5
After activation, a hidden "developer mode" will appear in the phone's settings up to this point. You should work in it carefully, incorrect actions can lead to serious malfunctions in the phone.
Step 6
To get rid of unnecessary background processes and increase the duration of the phone's work without charging, you need to go into the activated mode and click "Limit background processes".
Step 7
Next, you need to select a limitation of no more than 4 processes. If everything is done correctly and the reason was in the background programs, the phone will work much longer without charging.
Step 8
Please note that when the phone is restarted, if necessary, the developer mode will need to be activated again.
