Various companies that supply satellite TV services require money and a monthly fee to connect your TV to a satellite dish, but if you wish, you can try to connect to the antenna on your own, without the services of intermediaries.

Step 1
To connect to satellite TV, you first need to choose a place to install the antenna. To do this, you must find out the location of the satellites and calculate their elevation angles and azimuths.
Step 2
The antenna should be installed in a location where there will be fewer obstructions to the satellite signal and where you can easily access the antenna. For example, you can put and mount the antenna on the roof or balcony.
Step 3
Mount the assembled antenna firmly on the supports using anchor bolts to prevent the antenna from pulling out of the support surface. After installing the antenna, check if the feed of the converter is in focus of the antenna.
Step 4
If your antenna is installed to the west or east of the satellite, rotate the converter around its axis on the holder. This will improve the quality of the signal and picture on the screen.
Step 5
Connect the converter with a coaxial cable to the receiver using F-shaped connectors. Place the TV close to the antenna so that you can simultaneously access picture adjustments and reposition the antenna for tuning.
Step 6
Connect an analog receiver to the receiving equipment using the SCART connectors at a low frequency. In this case, you need to select AV mode on the TV.
Step 7
Set the frequency of one of the channels of the selected satellite in the receiver.

You can use both analog and digital receivers for connection and setup. In addition, there are many commercially available receivers that combine digital and analog inputs.
Step 9
After you have received a signal, make sure that this signal belongs to the exact satellite that you have chosen to connect to. Initially, the signal will be interspersed with noise - make more precise and fine adjustments to correct the image quality on the screen.
Step 10
Perform the tuning separately on the channel that is caught well, and separately, more precisely, on the channel that is poorly caught.
