Step 1
In order to be in the international roaming zone, MTS subscribers must first activate the World Without Borders service. To do this, you need to dial a special USSD-command * 111 * 33 * 7 #, press the call button, and then follow the instructions that appear. Connection of international roaming is also possible through the "Internet Assistant" self-service system. It is located on the official website of the company (you can easily find it, the column with the inscription "Internet Assistant" is highlighted in bright red on the main page). In addition, you have the opportunity to send an SMS message with the text 33 to the short number 111. The cost of connecting to the "World without Borders" service will depend on the parameters of a particular tariff plan and on its prices.
Step 2
By the way, international roaming is also available for subscribers of other operators. All thanks to the service called "National Roaming". You don't need to connect it, just keep track of the funds in your account (to activate the service, you need to have at least six hundred rubles on your balance). If you have enough funds, then when you leave your home network, roaming will turn on automatically. But as soon as the amount on your personal account is equal to three hundred rubles or even less, the service will be disabled. It should be noted that this scheme is designed for users of a prepaid payment system. It is much easier for postpaid users: they can communicate in roaming without restrictions.
Step 3
"National roaming", available to "Megafon" subscribers, can be activated in any of the subscriber service centers or in the nearest communication salon. This procedure is free and does not take much time. True, for this, do not forget to take your passport with you, as well as an agreement with the operator for the provision of services.
