A satellite dish is an essential attribute of modern television. It provides excellent signal quality and a wide variety of channels. Only a few companies provide their customers with free installation when purchasing antennas. Otherwise, this is another reason to make money. You can install a satellite dish on your own, if you know how to do it correctly.

Instructions

Step 1

Determine the mounting location on the wall. It should be on a solid, secure section of the wall to prevent the antenna from falling off. If necessary, use high-altitude equipment or a ladder in order to be as comfortable as possible at the antenna installation site (it is precisely because of the lack of such equipment that people have to call a special technical support team).

Step 2

Use a puncher to knock out the holes for the brackets. Make holes according to the size of the mounting bolts. Since antennas are usually fitted with medium-sized bolts, the holes should be quite large. Drive the anchors into the middle and secure the brackets.

Step 3

If you decide to install the antenna on the balcony, make holes in the wall and insert threaded rods there, which in turn secure with nuts. Install antennas with 3 converters first. Assemble and install all antennas on the brackets.

Step 4

Attach converters, cables and multifeeds. Make the mounts in a horizontal plane so that the antenna cannot move freely. Slide the multifeeds onto the pin of the center holder. Place the long slots opposite the small holder.

Step 5

Tighten them so that they cannot be rotated later. Carefully inspect and tighten all fasteners on the wall or balcony to ensure that the structure fits as tightly as possible.

Step 6

Attach the cable to the center converter using the F-connector. Screw the other end to the receiver, which in turn connect to the TV. Do not make the cables too long so that they do not interfere with the entire structure. So, the hardest part is left behind. It remains only to turn on the receiver and TV and set up the satellite dish according to the instructions. This usually does not take long.
