The popular PSP console from Sony is more than just a portable game console, as the functionality of the consoles has expanded many times since the release of the first PSPs. Currently, you can watch movies and pictures on the console, listen to music and chat via Skype. You can also use an e-book reader.

- - a program for reading books on the PSP;
- - card reader.
Instructions
Step 1
Download a special book reader for PSP. Wait for the download of the archive with the program and unpack it by right-clicking and selecting "Extract files". Please note that for the program to function, you will need a console firmware of at least 1.5.
Step 2
Select the _SCE_bookr and% _ SCE_bookr folders, right-click on them and select "Copy" from the drop-down menu. Open the cover of the memory card slot on your PSP and gently press down on the card to remove it. Insert the card into card reader on PC or offline. Wait while your computer's operating system recognizes the memory card.
Step 3
In Explorer, select "Open to view files." Locate your console's / PSP / GAMES folder on the memory card. Right-click in the folder space and choose Paste from the menu that appears. The program will be installed on the console.
Step 4
Create a book in.txt or.pdf format. To create a txt document, download Notepad, open the text of the book that you want to read on the console, in a browser or in a document. Copy it and paste by pressing Ctrl + V or by right-clicking and choosing "Paste". Save the document: click "File" and then "Save As." Enter the file name (title of the book) and from the list of encodings select "Unicode" (but not "Unicode Big Endian").
Step 5
Use either Microsoft Office 2007 or 2010 or an online converter to convert your document to.pdf format. If you are using MS Office 2007 or 2010, open the workbook or document that you want to convert. Then click "File" and "Save As". Select PDF from the list of formats. Uncheck the box next to the "Open file after publication" item, and in the "Optimization" item put a full stop next to "Standard". Click "Save".
Step 6
If MS Office 2007 or 2010 is not installed on your PC, convert the book using the online converter. Open it in a browser and scroll to the bottom of the page. Select the file to convert using the browse button, click on "Convert this document". The book will be saved to the folder selected in the browser settings as the folder for downloaded files.
Step 7
Move the.pdf or.txt document anywhere on your PSP's memory stick. After transferring, remove the memory card from the PC and insert it into the console. Launch the program on your PSP from the "Game" → Memory Stick. Click on the Open file button and select the book from the folder where you copied it.
