Make sure you have a mobile phone with a built-in modem. If not, check the connectivity of an external modem. Make sure you have the fax receive feature turned on. To do this, call the technical support service of the telecom operator you use and ask the employee to connect this service for you, having previously learned about this possibility. In Russia, there are quite a few operators that support this service, basically they only provide the ability to send faxes. The service of receiving them is available mainly for MTS subscribers, but everything may depend on the region of your location.
Step 3
Install fax software on your mobile device, such as WinFax or whatever you find most convenient. Before use, pre-configure your phone by entering the required contact information and other parameters.
Step 4
Do not download software for your phone from unknown sites, also try to check downloaded installers for viruses if you do not want to lose important information or harm the operation of your mobile device.
Step 5
When using satellite communication technology, check with your operator about the possibility of connecting the fax reception and transmission service through your mobile phone, since in most cases it is available to their subscribers, here you will also need to install the software, which is sometimes provided by the operator.
