Instructions
Step 1
To disconnect the modem from the computer, use the Safely Remove Hardware system. Find the modem icon, which is located in the lower right corner of the "Desktop" on the computer, click on it with any mouse button, and then on the inscription "Eject". After that, a pop-up window "Hardware can be removed" should appear, remove the modem from the USB connector.
Step 2
To disconnect the internet connection via the modem, lock the sim card in it. To do this, remove the SIM card and insert it into your mobile phone, enter the requested PIN code and PUK code, which you can find in the documents for the SIM card.
Step 3
Dial the command on the phone: * 105 * 00 # and the call button. The screen will display the following message: Servis-Gid 1 - Ustanovit / razblokirovat parol Reply? Click OK. Then enter the number 1 and OK again. In a few minutes, an sms will be sent to your phone containing the password for entering the Service-Guide system on the Megafon website.
Step 4
Go to the official website of the Megafon company. Click on the inscription "Service Guide", located in the upper right corner. Enter your login - your phone number in ten-digit format, the password received in the sms and the security code, which is shown in the picture below the login and password entry forms. Click on the "Login" item.
Step 5
On the page that opens, enter the "Services and Tariffs" section. Then "Number blocking". Enter the date from which you want to block the Internet connection via modem, and click "Install". The block will be valid for 6 months. After this time, you can renew it. Here you can also unlock the SIM card and use it again. The service of installing / unblocking is not charged.
Step 6
In addition, to turn off the Megafon modem, apply with your passport to any Megafon customer service office.
