The mobile phone battery gradually wears out, which negatively affects its performance. It becomes more and more difficult to charge the battery to the end, and the charge lasts very little time. Of course, you can buy a new battery, but you can also try to revive the old one.
Necessary
- - voltmeter;
- - ammeter;
- - thermal sensor;
- - thermal grease.
Instructions
Step 1
Raise the voltage to reanimate the phone battery. Connect a voltmeter and load to the battery using the parallel wiring diagram. Raise the load carefully, making sure it does not exceed 1V.
Step 2
Monitor the voltage and temperature of the battery. The voltage should not drop below 0.9V, and the temperature should not be raised above 50 ° C. When it gets to this point, turn off the voltage and cool the battery to room temperature. Such a discharge should help to normalize the processes inside the battery. This takes no more than 10-15 minutes.
Step 3
Use an ammeter to monitor the current going into the battery. Connect it in series by connecting a voltmeter, power supply and battery in parallel. Install a temperature sensor on the battery to monitor the temperature on the cell. Apply thermal paste to get an accurate reading.
Step 4
Set the minimum value on the voltage regulator. Start lifting it smoothly, remembering to follow the ammeter reading. The current strength should not exceed 1/10 of the battery capacity. So, for a battery with a capacity of 1200 mA, the current should be equal to 120 mA.
Step 5
Increase the voltage as the amperage drops. To restore the phone's battery, it is enough to increase the voltage once every 5 minutes. Gradually build up the tension every hour. As soon as it reaches 1.5V, stop there and put the battery to charge. It is better to do this after waiting until the battery is completely discharged. It is desirable to perform these operations at least 2-3 times.
Step 6
Check your refurbished mobile phone battery. If, as a result of the above steps, you do not get the desired results, it is better to purchase a new battery.
