The quality of some cell phones, unfortunately, is poor. Returning a defective product to the seller is definitely a very unpleasant procedure. For its successful implementation, it is necessary to take into account several features.
Necessary
- - documents on the phone;
- - package;
- - a set of accessories.
Instructions
Step 1
Start by preparing a package of required documents. Find your mobile phone receipt, warranty card, and packaging. It is important to remember that during the warranty period it is necessary to keep all accessories, be it a headset or a charger. Do not rush to throw these accessories away even if they are broken.
Step 2
Contact the company where you purchased your mobile phone. Explain the essence of the breakdown to the specialist in receiving the goods and give him the phone together with the necessary components. You may be asked to take the device to a service center yourself.
Step 3
Usually, the goods are transferred to the SC once a week. Self-service delivery of the device usually speeds up the return process. But this method also has a negative point. If the service center, for one reason or another, delays your phone longer than the specified period, you will not be able to file a claim with the store. Better not to risk it, but hand over the mobile device to the seller.
Step 4
If, after the expiration of thirty days from the date of receipt of the goods, you have not received a work phone number, contact the store again. Remember that you are not interested in the date of sending the goods to the SC. Focus on the number of phone transfers to the store.
Step 5
Ask for a similar device model or monetary compensation. Ignore the offer of a specialist to wait some more time until the repair of the device is completed. If the employees of the SC ordered the missing parts, then they checked the phone, admitted its malfunction and confirmed that you were not the cause.
Step 6
If your requirements are denied, file a claim in the name of the seller. Describe the current situation in it. Ask a specialist to sign it and make a copy of the document. Transfer the original to the store. You have the right to claim compensation in the amount of 1.5% of the value of the goods for each day of delay in the return or payment of the cash equivalent.
