Step 1
The most common distorting method is adjusting the sound using an equalizer, and the most common non-distorting method is a normalizer. To improve the quality of your music, you may prefer to use normalization of an audio file. The meaning of normalization is in changing the amplitude of the original signal; to the ear it is felt as a change in the volume of an audio file. The very ratio of the quietest value to the loudest value changes, i.e. there is an expansion of the dynamic range. When the range is narrowed, on the contrary, the sound of the file becomes more monotonous, the dynamism and brightness of the composition is lost.

On the Internet you can find many programs to improve the quality, the most convenient is to use the Sound Normalizer program. Download and install it on your computer.
Step 3
Run the program and click on the "Open" button at the top of the screen. In the window that opens, select the desired song (or the entire folder, using the "Batch Processor" function) and click open. After uploading the audio file, you need to analyze the composition. There are two normalization methods available for selection.
Step 4
If you need to enhance multiple songs of the same genre, limit yourself to peak sound normalization to save time. This kind of normalization will set the dynamic range of the sound to the same level for all selected songs. If you need to improve the quality of compositions of different genre or style of performance, use normalization to the average level. Unlike peak normalization, this type of normalization sets the dynamic range for each composition separately.
Step 5
Select the type you need and click on the "Check" button. After a few seconds, the program will set the desired values. Correct, if necessary, the levels of normalization, set the volume of the audio file and click the "Normalize" button. After completing the operation, save the file or convert it to another format.
