Connecting a camcorder to a TV turns it into a banal video recorder and allows you to view the footage on a large TV screen. Recommendations on how to connect the camera to a TV are not difficult.
Instructions
Step 1
Modern video cameras have lead wires to which you just need to connect a coaxial cable for audio and video transmission. The other end of the cable connects to the TV using a standard cinch connector. If the coaxial cable is not included in the standard set of the camcorder, it can be purchased at any radio store.
Step 2
A coaxial cable looks like a normal cable used to connect an antenna to a TV, for example. The connector for connecting the coaxial cable to the camera is a single jack-jack with a diameter of only 3.5 mm, which is inserted into the AV-In / Out output of the camcorder. At the other end of the wire there are cinch-type connectors: two sockets if the camera sends mono sound to the TV, three sockets if the camera transmits stereo sound.
Step 3
Each tulip connector is color-coded to match the color of the input jack on the TV panel. Just plug the connectors into jacks of the same color.
Step 4
On very old TVs, the connection jacks may be monochrome. In this case, find the right nests experimentally. Do not be afraid to connect the connectors if they are not connected correctly, there will be no catastrophic consequences, you simply will not hear a sound or see an image. In this case, continue to swap the connectors.
