Karaoke is a kind of amateur music making. Its essence is the performance of a song with a recorded instrumental accompaniment. As a rule, in addition to the harmonic basis, it also contains a track with a melody, which helps the singer navigate the song and sing without falsity. But an audio file with such accompaniment can also become the basis for recording a song at home.

Necessary

  • - Microphone;
  • - A computer with an installed sound editor or corresponding to the system requirements of the editor;
  • - Sound file karaoke.

Instructions

Step 1

First of all, install any sound editor on your computer: Adobe Audition. Sony Sound Forge, Audacity or other handy. You can download it, for example, on the amdm.ru website (link below). Unpack the archive, run the installation file, enter the password (www.amdm.ru). Follow the instructions of the installer, and when finished, register the program.

Step 2

Start the editor program. Open a karaoke file in it, drag it to the beginning of one of the tracks. Activate the adjacent track for recording. Connect a microphone to the audio input in the sound card, press the power button if necessary.

Step 3

Close the door in the room, get rid of all sources of unnecessary sounds: ask people to leave, drive the animals away. Click the record button.

Step 4

Sing the entire song from start to finish. If you are good with technique, record in parts: lead, chorus, second lead, etc. Don't re-sing the chorus, just copy and paste it into the appropriate section of the track. In the first version of the recording, you will inevitably make several mistakes: reservations, falsehood, overtones, etc. You will have to re-sing the entire song from start to finish. In the second case, you only need to re-sing one piece.
