Changing the battery, repairing the car, turning off the power or entering the code incorrectly may result in the radio blocking, protecting the device from theft. In this case, to continue the work, it is necessary to perform a series of operations to decode it.
Instructions
Step 1
Turn on the car radio. If the message "SAFE" or "CODE" appears on its display, it means that the device has a system failure. In order to continue to work with the radio and enjoy music, you must enter the correct code.
Step 2
Take the operating instructions for the radio that came with the device. The first page should contain the identification number next to which the radio map is located. When buying a radio, it is advisable to take it out and store it in a safe place that should not be in the car itself, as this will make it easier for robbers to break into the device. Thus, take this radio card and remember the specified code.
Step 3
Press the DX and FX buttons on the radio at the same time after you see the words "SAFE" or "CODE". Keep them pressed until "1000" appears. Release the buttons and do not press them anymore, as the system will interpret this set of numbers as a code.
Step 4
Enter the code number from the radio card using the radio station selection buttons. Button 1 is responsible for the first digit of the code, button 2 for the second, and so on. Buttons 5 and 6 are not used during input.
Step 5
Press the DX and FX buttons after entering the code to unlock the radio and hold them until the word "SAFE" appears. As soon as it appears, release the buttons. The device will "think" for a while, after which the frequency of the radio stations will appear, which will indicate that the radio is unlocked. If the code number was entered incorrectly, the inscription "SAFE" will flash for a while. After it lights up constantly, you will have another attempt to enter the code combination. If the wrong order of numbers is entered three times in a row, the radio will be locked for an hour. Wait for this time and then try again.
