Instructions

Step 1

Do not use flammable cleaners or aerosols when cleaning the printer. If toner gets on your clothing, remove it with a dry cloth and wash clothing in cold water.

Step 2

To avoid burns, do not touch the fuser or the area around it. If toner is spilled, do not let it enter the respiratory tract.

Step 3

Unplug the printer and remove the cover before cleaning. Use a dry soft cloth to wipe dust and dirt off the paper take-up roller, being careful not to damage the mechanism.

Step 4

Do not put pressure on the take-up and registration rollers - wipe gently. Then, gently clean the transport roller guides and assembly with the same cloth. To prevent future stains and jams on the paper, clean the exit roller with a cloth.

Step 5

Open the top cover to remove the cartridge from the printer. Unfasten the fasteners and carefully slide the cartridge outward, without touching the contacts or exposing the cartridge to strong light for extended periods.

Step 6

Clean the surface of the cartridge body with a soft dry cloth without using aerosols or volatile solvents. Clean the surface of the charging roller and place it back into the cartridge, then reinstall the cartridge in its place inside the printer and secure with the clips.

Step 7

Wipe the dustproof glasses of the laser unit with a soft cotton swab, also without using liquids. After cleaning, close all covers on the printer and check the print quality by connecting it to your computer.
