Step 1
In the window that appears with a message about blocked content, click on the link at the bottom of it, it is called "How to unblock a publisher." Often this action does not give absolutely any positive results, but it is worth trying.
Step 2
Disable your operating system's firewall. To do this, in the computer control panel menu, find the item responsible for ensuring Windows security. In this menu, open the "Firewall" section and disable it, then restart your computer and try again to start the flash player of the blocked publisher. If that doesn't work, try another alternative method.
Step 3
In the Security Center, go to the Windows Firewall Settings tab. If there is a check mark next to "Do not allow exceptions", uncheck it. This item is located just below the point where the protection system itself is turned on when it is activated.
Step 4
Go to the tab for adding exclusions to the settings of applications blocked by the security system. Click on the "Add" button. Use the browse to select the path to your blocked flash player. Turn on notification that a firewall is blocking certain programs. Here you can also add other applications that previously caused conflicts with Windows Firewall to the list of exceptions.
Step 5
Despite all the benefits of standard security, download and install a standalone firewall and disable the built-in firewall. This is especially true for Windows Vista. Please note that this situation can arise not only after installation, but also after performing a system update, therefore you can also use recovery if the point was created earlier.
