The price tag is a kind of advertisement for a product that is put up for sale. Its main purpose is to attract the attention of the buyer and acquaint him with information about the product, manufacturer, components and cost. Today, there are certain requirements for the price tag related to its correct design.
Instructions
Step 1
Please fill in correctly. Price tags for all types of goods sold must necessarily contain relevant information about the quality of the goods. When preparing a food label for printing, provide the following information:
For goods by weight - grade, price per unit of weight (500 g, kilogram), depending on packaging
For goods offered in bulk - the price per unit of volume.
For piece goods and drinks packaged by manufacturers - volume or weight, price per package or bottle. The name of the product and its expiration date are mandatory information for all types of food products.
Step 2
Write the name of the product, manufacturer and cost in the price list for non-food items, in particular perfumery or haberdashery products, as well as clothes.
Step 3
Pay close attention to its shape, font, and color. Choose a clear font so that the information about the product is clearly visible to the consumer and he can highlight the aspects that are important to him. The color directly affects the attractiveness of the product, emphasize the specifics with the following colors: green - for dairy products, blue - for seafood, brown - for ceramic products and blue, red or orange for household or knitted goods.
Step 4
Choose a label shape, but remember that square or rectangular is easy for consumers to perceive. The form should not restrict the filling of the price tag with information.
Step 5
Prepare labels for printing in Microsoft Word. First, decide on the size. Make an ordinary table on the page with cells of the required format. Enter text with the appropriate information in the first cell. Then copy the finished label into subsequent cells. Save the finished page and print it to the printer. You can print price tags in any other program convenient for you.
Step 6
Certify the price tags with the signature of the financially responsible person. Indicate on the price tag the details of the store and the date the price tag was issued. This information should not be corrected in ink or paint.
