Users of Apple products, along with the purchase of a new iPhone or iPad, quickly found a solution to transform a standard SIM card into a new type of card. All you need to do is just cut off the old card, thus fitting it under the iPhone. All SIM cards, regardless of which operator you have, Megafon, Beeline, MTS or any other, are cut in the same way. Therefore, the instruction on how to cut a standard SIM card to MicroSIM (micro SIM) is suitable for all iPhone owners.

Instructions
Step 1
It goes without saying that there must be a micro SIM card template according to which the standard one should be cut. The ideal option would be to print the template on a printer, but if this is not possible, then you should just remember its dimensions: 12x15 mm.
Step 2
The SIM card needs to be placed upside down with the chip, while the corner cut should be at the top left. To the right of the edge of the card, draw a strip 1, 5 mm wide and carefully cut it off with scissors.
Step 3
Next, we will cut off the bottom of the SIM card, we will need to remove about 1 mm. Everything happens in the same sequence: a line of the specified width is drawn with a pencil and a ruler, then it is cut off.
Step 4
To cut the SIM card for the iPhone further, measure 2 mm from the top with a ruler and draw a line. Before cutting off the top edge, you need to make sure that the width of the newborn card is 12 mm. If all dimensions are the same, then you can carefully trim the strip along the top line.
Step 5
It remains to trim the last side to the left. Measure 15 mm from the edge cut on the right side. The width of the strip to be cut will be approximately 8 mm. We cut it off.
Step 6
At this stage, the SIM card is almost ready, all that remains is to cut the corners. Three of them are trimmed only slightly, and the fourth cut will look like a right-angled triangle, the 2 sides of which will be 2 mm.
Step 7
We insert the finished cut off card into the iPhone slot, thus trying it on. If the need arises, you should cut it a little.
Step 8
If, nevertheless, after trying to cut a SIM card for an iPhone, it did not work, then you probably made a mistake while cutting, or the card turned out to be an old model. In this case, you still have to contact the operator, he will replace it with MicroSIM.
Step 9
But there is an easier way to cut a SIM card for iPhone using a ready-made printed template. All you need is to fix the template on the card with double-sided tape and cut off all unnecessary on it. In the same way, you can make a nano SIM card from MicroSIM or a standard card.
