Subscribers of the mobile operator "MegaFon" have the opportunity to activate the "Chat" service, which provides for instant messaging with subscribers of "MTS" and "Beeline". At any time, you can not only enable, but also disable this option.
Instructions
Step 1
In order for the "Chat" service to turn off automatically, you just need to stop using it. After 90 days, this option will be disabled, but you will receive notifications about further disconnection.
Step 2
If you do not want to periodically receive notifications about the disconnection of the service, you can disable the "Chat" using the Internet. To do this, go to the official website of the mobile operator "Megafon". In the upper right corner, find the inscription "Service Guide", click on it.
Step 3
The self-service page will open. To enter it, enter your ten-digit phone number and password. After that, click on the "Login" button.
Step 4
On the left you will see the self-service zone menu, select the "Services and tariff" tab, in the list that opens, click on "Change the set of services". Then on the page, check the box next to "Additional".
Step 5
A list will open below. Find the "Chat" service and uncheck the box opposite the inscription. After that click on "Make changes". The option will be disabled.
Step 6
You can also deactivate the "Chat" service by sending a message from your mobile. To do this, send a text with the number 2 to number 5070 (SMS is free). If you cannot turn it off in this way, use the USSD command: * 507 * 2 # and the call key.
Step 7
You can also call the customer service line at 0500. Having contacted the operator, tell him the passport data of the SIM card holder. The option can then be disabled.
Step 8
You can turn off "Chat" by contacting the nearest office of the mobile operator "Megafon". Do not forget to take with you a document proving your identity or power of attorney (if the SIM card is not registered to you).
