The "Chat" service provided by MegaFon allows users to exchange instant messages not only with subscribers of their network, but with other members of the Big Three - MTS and Beeline. Incoming and outgoing messages are displayed in the form of a dialogue.
Instructions
Step 1
Connect to the "Chat" service provided by "MegaFon" by sending an SMS message with the value Chat to number 5049 to receive automatic settings for a special chat client (provided that the tea client is supported by the phone model used) or set it up manually.
Step 2
Enter the MegaFonChart value in the Server Name field and enter the mms value in the Access Point Name (APN) line.
Step 3
Enter the address https://login.chat.megafonpro.ru/wv/wv.dll in the "Internet address" field and enter the chat value in the "User ID" line.
Step 4
Re-enter chat in the Password field to complete the setup process.
Step 5
Make sure that the MMS service is activated and the MMS APN is configured.
Step 6
Use the special service "Service-Guide", which allows you to manage and change the user account, or contact the nearest MegaFon communication salon.
Step 7
Refuse to use the "Chat" service provided by "MegaFon" to automatically delete the user profile from the service platform. The deletion is carried out 90 days after the last use of the "Chat" service. This will automatically send SMS reminders about the upcoming disconnection of the user account. Reminders are sent every 30, 7, 3 and 1 days.
Step 8
Send a free SMS with a value of 2 to the short number 5070 to disable the unlimited package of instant messages or dial * 507 * 2 # -call for an alternative way to disable the "Chat" service.
Step 9
Use the special service "Service-Guide", which allows you to manage and change the user account, or contact the nearest MegaFon communication salon.
