Almost everyone loves to listen to music. However, everyone has their own tastes, so people use headphones so as not to interfere with others listening to their favorite music. Like any gadget, headphones tend to break. Not everyone can afford to buy new ones. You can try to revive the old ones. To do this, the headphones must be disassembled.
Necessary
a manual for your headphones, a set of small screwdrivers, a plastic screwdriver
Instructions
Step 1
Prepare a place where you will take the headphones apart. It should be well lit. If the procedure will be carried out in the dark, then find and install a bright lamp. Just in case, have a magnifying glass ready so that you can see the small details. It is best to lay a light-colored cloth or sheets of white paper on the table. Such a measure will not only protect the table from scratches, but also simplify the work, since the small details of the headphones will be very clearly distinguishable against a light background.
Step 2
Read the instruction manual for your headphones carefully. First of all, try to understand the diagram of their design. If the headphones are "disposable", then it will be very difficult to disassemble them, because such models usually have casings cast or connected with glue. Large on-ear headphones are the easiest to disassemble. Almost all devices of this type come with an instruction manual, which contains a diagram of the structure. If you did not find one, then visit the official website of the manufacturer of your headphones. There you can find in electronic form all the necessary documentation.
Step 3
Be sure to remove the headphone plug from the player or other music device. Now carefully remove the soft pads. Most of these cushions are attached with plastic clips. You just need to gently pull on one of the sides, then the latch will pop out of the socket with a characteristic sound. This will open all the plastic clips. This must be done very carefully and smoothly so as not to break the plastic structure. Never try to detach the pad with any hard object. This can easily lead to mechanical damage to the design of the headphones.
Step 4
After removing the pads, you will see several screws underneath. They connect the two halves of the headphone housing. Remove these screws carefully. Try not to hit the screw holes with the screwdriver, otherwise you can easily break the membrane. Then the headphones will become completely unusable. Now the case is held only by plastic latches. You need to gently press on the places where they are located, and the body will open. Do not jerk both halves too much, as the thin audio wire may break. In one of the parts of the case there will be a speaker, in a recessed place. Pull it out using a non-sharp object. Your headphones are now disassembled.
