Home theaters are designed to bring the viewer as close as possible to the atmosphere of the film and to perfectly reproduce every element of the musical composition. However, if earlier the speaker system was connected by cords, creating inconveniences, now wireless technologies have come to the rescue of a person.
Initially, all home theaters used wired technology, but this created a lot of inconvenience. Routing cords to where you connect to a speaker is not an easy task. Firstly, it should not be assumed that they were in the path of movement. Secondly, they rarely looked aesthetically pleasing. In an effort to remedy this situation, many solutions have been applied.
At first, they decided to create thinner wires. However, this idea quickly burned out, since for the reproduction of high-quality music it is necessary that the channel width is sufficient. It is also impossible to run one large cable - the laws of physics come into force. A convenient solution was found in the form of flat wires, but their cost was noticeably higher than the standard ones. Consumers simply refused to buy such expensive equipment.
The first wireless home theater systems
However, quite recently, in the mid-2000s, Sony, Panasonic and Philips began to release completely new models one after another. They consisted of several speakers to connect which did not need to use wires at all. The devices themselves operated on batteries, and the soundtracks reached them via wireless technology.
Then it might seem like a real sensation, but this mood did not last long. It turned out that the sound quality was noticeably lower, despite the fact that the audio track was transmitted without any restrictions. In addition, many customers began to complain of constant discomfort, and most of the home theater models were discontinued.
Modern developments
Then a series of so-called "recordings" began. Before launching, a few seconds were allotted for the sound track to be fully loaded, analyzed and adapted. The quality of this sound turned out to be noticeably better, but the price increased disproportionately. On average, the cost of such freedom from wires starts from 15 thousand rubles. Not every citizen is able to pay such an amount.
In addition to conventional speakers, wireless subwoofers have also begun to evolve. Of course, their sound quality cannot be compared to traditional technologies. However, since the first steps have already been taken, it is hoped that in the near future people will see truly incredible developments in this area.
Of the recent discoveries, wireless charging can be distinguished. That is, the speakers can be placed on a special stand and charged at its expense. True, they are very expensive, so they will not become popular goods soon.
