Setting up a Samsung TV is a simple matter, but like any technique, this brand of TVs has its own nuances, including when setting up digital television, channels, image or sound clarity.

Step 1
Any settings on the Samsung TV (channel search, changing the screen resolution, image, sound) are made by using the "Service menu", which is called by pressing the Menu button on the remote control.
If you have just purchased the TV, then the "Service menu" will be in English, so before proceeding with the rest of the settings, change the language to Russian.
Press the Menu button on the remote control, the “Service menu” of the TV will be displayed on the screen, select the Setup item using the arrow-cursors (up, down). Then press Enter on the remote control to enter the settings mode. Use the cursors again to select Language. From the suggested ones, stop in Russian.
Step 2
Search (tuning) of channels is also carried out using the "Service menu". Press Menu on the remote control, then select the "Settings" item, where you will be offered a list of settings, select "Search / configure channels".
Here you will be able to search for channels either digital or analog, depending on your TV connection. Next, you will need to choose how the tuning and channel search will be performed: manually or automatically, select, respectively, "Manual" or "Auto tuning".
With automatic tuning, the search for channels will be conducted without your participation. The programs will be automatically assigned numbers, which you can change in the future. The channels that you watch more often than others, you can assign the first numbers on the remote control.
Step 3
Image adjustment is performed in the same way as the previous settings. Menu button on the remote control, then the item "Image". Here you can select the optimal image by changing the "Contrast", "Sharpness", "Brightness", "Color" parameters using the arrow-cursors, changing the value of the scale of the required parameter up or down.
Step 4
Sound parameters are also configurable. On the remote control Menu, Settings, Sound. In this option, select the sound quality and system from the proposed ones. Depending on the model, Samsung TVs have different sets and sound quality. In modern models there is a surround sound function, Dolby, equalizer.
