The SIM card of the Megafon mobile operator has four factory codes - four-digit PIN1, PIN2, eight-digit PUK1 and PUK2. Some cards are configured to ask for the first of these codes when switched on (the subscriber can configure this option for security reasons). After entering the wrong PIN three times, the card is blocked, but it can still be restored.
Instructions
You will need:
Included phone with SIM card;
Documents on a SIM card.
Make sure the SIM card is really locked. Perhaps you can still get it back by entering a pin code. If you have not changed it while using the phone, the factory code can be very simple - 1234 or 0000.
Find the codes from the phone on the contract. You will now need the eight-digit PUK1.
After making sure that you have found the correct code, enter the following combination: ** 05 * PUK1 code * new PIN1 code * new PIN1 code #. You will have 10 attempts to restore access to the SIM card.
If you typed the wrong combination with the PUK code ten times, the card will be blocked permanently. Now all that remains is to go to the office of the operator "Megafon" with the documents for the card and passport.
Note:
The combination with PUK-code is universal for unblocking SIM cards of other telecom operators.
If you have spent 10 attempts with the PUK code, and the SIM card is registered to another person, you will not be able to recover it.
