Videocassettes began to go out of fashion, as they were replaced by more convenient storage media called disks. Therefore, it is not surprising that many people want to copy family memorable footage or favorite films from videotapes to DVD or CD discs.
It is necessary
- - DVD player;
- - VHS player;
- - DVD - disc;
- - VHS cassette;
- -computer (operating system Windows Vista Home Premium);
- - A / V cable;
- - FireWire cable;
- - digital video camera;
- - the Nero program.
Instructions
Step 1
First, transfer the recording from the VHS tape to your computer. To do this, connect your camcorder to your VCR and computer. Then import the video file into Windows Movie Maker and select the video you want to burn to DVD. The program automatically creates a video clip, and you copy it to the new collection folder.
Step 2
Next, save the project, but before that give it a name, write a title. If you want a nice looking DVD menu, create a picture in the Tools menu by clicking the Snapshot Preview button.
Step 3
Once the clips are ready, burn them to DVD using Windows DVD Maker. Then customize the DVD menu using the created pictures and menu text. Put the prepared disc on a preview in order to have time to notice any inaccuracies or typos.
Step 4
After checking the disc, put it on record using the Nero program for this purpose. To do this, in the program installed on your computer, select the "Create Data DVD" command and click on it. As soon as the command is activated, the program will automatically start copying the recording from the videotape to the disk.
Step 5
If you want to fit several films on one disc, then cut the files in the Nero Vision or MAGIX Movies program, where you can record only with a resolution of 720x576. The latter program is ideal for recording from master copies.
