Burning music to disc using a personal computer is not a difficult task. At the same time, the disc can be either classical music or a collection of music files of different formats. Both types of discs are easily played by all modern consumer players.
Instructions
Step 1
Download the free CD Burner XP CD burning software. You can do this by following the link https://cdburnerxp.se/downloadsetup.exe, then install it on your computer and run it. A window will open allowing you to select various program functions such as creating data disc, iso image, DVD and music disc. Select the "Create Data Disc" option. Then insert the CD into the drive, and select its type - CD or DVD. After that, select the window for adding files, which outwardly resembles the window of the explorer program
Step 2
In the file adding mode, open the folder containing the music you need to burn to a disc. Music files intended for recording must be in mp3 format, or another format supported by the device on which you plan to play this CD. Copy or drag audio recordings to the box on the left. To keep track of the amount of free space remaining on the disk, watch the indicator bar located at the bottom of the window. Make sure that all the required tracks are prepared for recording, or the disc is full.
Step 3
To start the physical recording of audio files to disk, click the "Burn" button. Do not run any programs in the background to avoid accidentally interrupting the burning process, as if it is abruptly canceled, the disc may be damaged if it was not rewritable. When the burn is complete, check the disc's recording quality by reinserting it into the drive and starting it up.
