Video technology has changed significantly. Today, video on cassettes is becoming a rarity. Movies on DVD are being replaced. Manufacturers of CDs and DVDs claim that their products will last almost forever. The question arises, how to transfer the recording from your videotape to DVD?
Instructions
Step 1
Check if the analog camera or VCR is connected properly.
Set the desired camera mode specifically for video playback, then select Record Video from the File menu.

The second option: on the panel labeled "Operations with movies" go to the section "Video recording", select the option "Record from a video device".
Step 3
You are on the Video Recorder page. From the "Available devices" list, select the analog device that you plan to use for recording. From the list "Video input source" select the input channel that you will use. Below the "Setup" button there are video recorder options that you can adjust to your liking.

From the Sound Device list, highlight the desired recording device, and in the Sound Input Source list, find the input channel you intend to use. To adjust the volume of the recorded sound, slide the Input Level slider to the desired position.
Step 5
In the "Enter a filename for the recorded video" line, type a filename for your video. Then, in the "Select a folder to save the recorded video" area, define the folder where you will store the video. The same operation can be performed by clicking the Browse button, which also functions to select a folder.
Step 6
Go to the Video Option page and enter a video option. If you need smaller clips, click the Create Clips After Completing Wizard icon.
Step 7
While the video is being recorded, audio may start playing through the speakers. To prevent this situation, select the “Turn off speakers” icon. To automatically stop recording after a certain time, click the “Time limit for recording” checkbox. In the line, set the parameter of the required recording duration. Select the "Start recording" command, and in order for the program to exit, click the "Finish" option.
