Step 1
Contact the nearest communication (customer service) center of your regional telephone operator. The list of required documents can be specified directly at the site or by calling the contact phone.
Somewhere for the first visit, a passport with registration at the place of residence in the apartment where the telephone is planned is enough. And, for example, in St. Petersburg, documents of title to housing are also needed.

Step 2
After receiving an answer about the technical feasibility of installing a telephone in an apartment, conclude an agreement and pay for connection services. The amount of payment depends on the tariffs of a particular provider.
You will be assigned the day when the master will come to the apartment, who will lead the telephone line there, install the required number of sockets, and make the wiring around the apartment.
Specify all these details at the service center when placing an order: how many sockets are needed, in what places, how this will affect the price, etc.
Step 3
On the appointed day, wait for the master and provide him with access to the apartment and to the places where the cable will run. If necessary, purchase the necessary materials by this time (for example, fasteners).
