All modern TV models equipped with a remote control have the ability to lock. It is usually used to restrict children from watching TV. But it happens that the blocking is done by accident.

Instructions
Step 1
Read the instructions carefully. There must be a special code - a set of numbers that must be pressed on the remote control to set or unlock the lock, as well as the actions required to unlock the TV.
Step 2
In the event that the instruction is lost, try to remember on your own what actions led to the blocking of the TV.
Step 3
Press the "P" and "+" button on the remote control at the same time. Enter three or four arbitrary numbers. Usually such combinations are “333” or “4444” and coincide with the number of the frequently used channel. The most common standard lock passwords are also the numbers "1234", "1111", etc. Press the "+" button again. If the TV fails to unlock, try repeating everything with a different combination of numbers.
Step 4
After pressing the "P" and "+" buttons, the LED on the remote control lights up without interruption. If using this combination you could not unlock the TV, try pressing the "Menu" and "Volume +", "Menu" and "Channel +" buttons at the same time, and then repeat the combination of numbers.
Step 5
Some TV models support a one-key locking system: press one button and hold for 5-10 seconds. If you still cannot unlock the TV, carefully examine the TV case and the remote control itself (including under the batteries) - they may contain an unlock guide with the appropriate code.
