If you take proper care of your PSP, it will last you a long time while maintaining its presentable appearance. Although after a few hours of using the device, fingerprints and various smudges remain on the entire glossy surface, and after a while all kinds of scratches appear.
Necessary
- - microfiber fabric;
- - makeup or art brush;
- - small square screwdriver;
- - scratch remover.
Instructions
Step 1
To clean your set-top box from stains and marks, you can use a microfiber cloth, which will wipe off all fingerprints without much effort on the entire glossy surface of the device. Never wipe the console with a regular rag or tissue, as micro scratches and abrasions may remain.
Step 2
Pay special attention to the display, as almost any touch of rough material can leave a scratch. The best way to clean the screen is with an eyeglass cloth or microfiber cloth. Try to touch the screen as little as possible, as the glass starts to become cloudy over time and grease becomes difficult to wipe off.
Step 3
When cleaning the display, never use gels or ointments to remove scratches. They are suitable only for the body of the device itself and will only help cover up minor damage. Over time, the scratches will reappear.
Step 4
Sooner or later, dust begins to accumulate under the console display. If you decide to disassemble the set-top box and clean the screen, do it very carefully. Use a small square screwdriver to disassemble. Cleaning is best done in the bathroom, where there is the least amount of dust. Download detailed instructions for disassembling the set-top box and strictly follow it.
Step 5
The best way to clean the plastic surface of the PSP is a makeup or painting brush. Try not to touch the matrix itself, as there is a high probability that you will leave marks that you can never clean again. It is advisable to clean the console buttons also with a brush.
