Sometimes a situation arises when you know the address of an institution or place of residence of a person, but you cannot call, because you do not know the phone number. You can try to figure it out using various help services.

Step 1
If you need an organization's phone number, the easiest option is to call the Help Desk at 09 or 009 (when calling from a mobile phone). Ask the operator for a telephone number that matches the name of the organization or its address. You may also be given a landline telephone number registered at the address you named. This information is not confidential, as it is regularly published in telephone directories.
Step 2
Use sites on the Internet that provide similar services to find a phone number. For example, the resource "2GIS". This is a free electronic directory providing information on many cities in Russia and Ukraine. You can download and install the 2GIS program on your computer, then the reference book will always be at your fingertips. Or you can use the online version of the program by clicking on the "Online version" button, then on the "Go right now" icon. Enter the information you have in the form fields and click the "Find" button. All matching options will be displayed. The site is convenient because it does not require registration, sending sms messages, etc.
Step 3
The situation is more complicated if you need to find out your mobile phone number. There is no such information in city reference services, mobile operators will not share it with you either, as they store confidential information about their customers. The only option is to search for the desired phone in the databases on the Internet. If the phone belongs to an organization, then the probability of finding it is quite high. For example, try to go to the sites "Telephone base", "Moscow addresses", "Moscow addresses and telephones". Alternatively, type in the search engine the query "Moscow telephone directories" and look for a directory that suits you.
Step 4
If you cannot find the phone you are looking for, try searching for CDs with databases of Moscow phone numbers. They can be ordered online or searched on the famous Gorbushka.
